„Die Bewegung Archivieren“

Vorträge zum Thema „Archive und Widerstand“ mit anschließendem Gespräch mit den Teilnehmenden. Von und mit Isidora Randjelović (RomaniPhen Archiv) und Philipp Khabo Koepsell (Eoto e.V.).

 

“Unarchiving/Archiving”

Welcoming activists, artists, academics and all practioners from community groups, institutions and/or anywhere else to join us for an exchange of stategies, conversation and creative activities that explore past, present and futures of collective resistance and the intersections or art, activism and academia. Faciliated by Sunanda Mesquita (We Dey, Vienna) and Raju Rage  (Collective Creativity, UK) who will start by sharing their research and practices in un-archiving and organising. By the end of the workshop we will have a shared strategy to take away, a map of resources that can be used by all and met each other and connected.

NOTE: Pls. bring one resource that has been valuable to you on this theme of collective resistance e.g. a quote, text, image, a book, an artwork, a poster, a flyer, a recipe, a memory etc.

 

“Oral History and Spoken Word as Knowledge Archives”

In this workshop Emily Ngubia Kessé and Mona Moon will reflect upon oral history and spoken word as archives of knowledge of marginalised & racialised communities. They will outline how oral history and spoken word play a significant role in the creation of counter-hegemonic narratives as well as in resistance movements of this groups.

 

“Writing as Living Archive”

Reading and discussion  with the author of   “Vitsvit”  (“White Blight”) Athena Farrokhzad (www.versopolis.com/poet/66/athena-farrokhzad).

 

„Das Museum Dekolonisieren?“

Die Geschichte des Ausstellens bildet im Kontext des Rassismus eine höchst problematische Grundlage im Museum. Das Sammeln, Ordnen, Archivieren und Zurschaustellen steht dabei nach wie vor in Zusammenhang mit nationalen Mythenbildungen, Exotisierungen und ständigen Re-/Produktion von Andersheit. Das Ziel einer dekolonialisierenden Museologie sucht nach einem Strategien, den objektivierenden Blick in Museumsräumen und Ausschluss schaffende Praktiken des Sammelns und des Ausstellens zu durchbrechen. Vielmehr geht es um das Gestalten neuer Räume, in denen aus marginalisierten und ausgeblendeten Perspektiven heraus Themen zentriert und bearbeitet werden.

In diesem Panel sprechen Nicola Lauré al-Samarai, Peggy Piesche und Natalie Bayer über die Formen, Möglichkeiten und Grenzen einer dekolonialen Museumpraxis. Die Runde ist als offenes Gespräch zwischen den Referent*innen aufgebaut. Im Anschluss gibt es Raum für Fragen und Diskussion mit den Teilnehmenden. Moderation: Diane Izabiliza.

 

„Erinnerung und Stadt“

In diesem Workshop wird es um politische Praktiken der Verortung, um Selbstbezeichnung im deutschen/transnationalen Kontext und um das Verhältnis zwischen Stadt und der Verortung rassifizierter Menschen und Communitys gehen. Absicht ist es, aufzuzeigen, wie sich koloniale Kontinuitäten in der Stadt widerspiegeln.

Aus einer rassismuskritischen und solidarischen Perspektive wird Mahdis Azarmandi nach dem Alltag und den Kämpfen postkolonialer Migrant*innen und People of Color in der Stadt fragen und Strategien einer urbane Dekolonisierung diskutieren.

“Migrant Women’s Selforganisation – GDR/BRD”

We will discuss the importance of documenting the history(s)of migrant women and refugees and their political and social life Self-organization and fights. Using the example of the conference “When I came to Germany” (www.als-ich.iwspace.de/), we want to share the diverse experiences of women who have come to Germany, into a historic context and to draw parallels between migrant women and refugees. Identify women who are politically active in Germany.

 

“Social media and Co. New Forms of Interventions”

While hegemonial journalism is on the rise again, queer, feminist, anti-racist, left-wing press is struggling more than ever. Two feminist editors of Color from the UK-magazine gal-dem and the German magazine Missy Magazine will discuss their work, the common grounds of their geographical and political contexts, the differences, the challanges and the importance of alternative media.

 

“Geschichte der Migrations(kämpfe) dokumentieren”

In diesem Vortrag mit anschließendem Gespräch werden Ceren Türkem und Ayşe Güleç ihre Perspektiven zusammenbringen, um im Kontext von Rassismus über Kategorien wie Staat, Kapitalismus, Subjektpositionen und migrantisch situiertes Wissen, Widerstand und affirmative Sabotage zu sprechen.
