trans_x_ing names for kinship terms and social relations
do you know a situation like this: you are talking to some friendx about your last visit to your sister and her kids: it was really bad, how your sister on an excursion with others called you ‚my brother‘ and the kids addressed you with ‚auntie‘. you are not ‚sister‘ or ‚brother‘ or ‚aunt‘ or ‚uncle‘. you do not want to become a mother or a father, but ——— and then there is this void feeling, no words. do you know a situation like this?
we want to change that! we want to collect new, daring forms as well as forms already tried and used; we want to discuss them with you and share them with all of us. we really really would love to find and speak out words which are simple to say and/or easy to spell and write, words trans_x_ing people can identify with, do not feel strange with and uncool in using them or terms which are fun and make you being present here and now!
to start, we have formulated a couple of sentences you could use to fill in and try out new terms. feel free to take whatever sentence you like to formulate and write your ideas and terms you would like to share
